Food Industry Association of WA Awards

Anchor Foods was recently awarded the Westpac Best Business Award as part of the Food Industry Association of WA annual industry awards event. Anchor Foods also won an award in the Innovation category in recognition of the range of Lighthouse Special Purpose Flours.

The Westpac Food and Beverage Industry Awards are in their first year, established by the Food Industry Association of WA. The Food Industry Association of WA was launched in November last year and is the States peak food and beverage industry body, dedicated to helping the States 950-plus food and beverage manufacturers.

The Lighthouse range of Special Purpose Flours is a range of ‘fit for purpose' flour products designed for the home chef. They have been developed to provide everyday cooks at home with the necessary ingredients to achieve extra special results previously only thought possible by industry professionals. The range includes flour that has been designed to meet all cooking and baking occasions. This was the first ever launch of such a range of flour products in Australia and is considered to be a significant innovation by the Food Industry.
