Caesars Twist


Ingredients:
  • 4 slices of crusty Italian bread
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 30g, butter melted
  • 8 slice of prosciutto
  • 1 cos lettuce, washed and chopped
  • 8 anchovy fillets
  • 150g Parmesan cheese, shaved
  • 1/2 cup Anchor Italian red wine vinaigrette
Method:
  1. To make croutons - Preheat oven to 220c or 200c fan forced. Cut bread into 1cm cubes and coat with butter and garlic. Place in hot oven for 5-8 minutes or until golden and crunchy. Set aside
  2. Fry prosciutto in a hot frypan until crispy and browned.
  3. To assemble salad, in a large bowl add lettuce leaves, anchovy fillets, parmesan cheese and prosciutto
  4. Pour in vinaigrette and mix until all ingredients are well coated
  5. Top salad with boiled eggs and croutons
